Clara M. Jennings
Clara M. Jennings, 60, of Gurnee, Ill., died suddenly Thursday, Aug. 14, 2008 from injuries
she and her son, Patrick Jennings, received in an automobile accident.
Graveside services were held at Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana on Friday, Aug. 22,
conducted by the Rev. D. Randall Cone, Louisiana.
Visitation was from 3 p.m., until time of services at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 20 at the
Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, Libertyville, Ill.
Over 700 people were present for the visitation and funeral at the funeral home.
She was born on May 13, 1948 in Waukegan, was a graduate of Waukegan High School
and attended Northern Illinois University.
Clara was an accountant and was employed at Evanston Hospital for 37 years. She
enjoyed antique collecting and gardening and will be missed by all of her family and
friends.
She is survived by a brother, Norman Hansen and wife, Cindy of Lake Forest; a sister,
Sylvia Wilson of Marietta, Ga., and also by her nephew, Mark Hansen and wife, Amy of
Lincolnshire, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Clara Hansen and also by her
husband, David Jennings on April 3, 2008.
