Paul Kenneth Shinn
Paul Kenneth Shinn, 75, of Hannibal, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008 at Westview Nursing
Home in Center.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in
Hannibal. The Rev. Tim Goodman officiated. Burial were at Fairview Cemetery in
Frankford.
Visitation were from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
Mr. Shinn was born Feb. 25, 1933, in Busch to Wilmer and Ora Tippey Shinn. He was
first married to Meron Sue Brown. She survives. He later married Jill Leathers. She
survives.
Survivors include eight children, Kenneth Lee Shinn and wife, Bonnie of Bowling Green,
Klifford Shinn and wife, Sue of Rockford, Ill., Karen Toon and husband, Tommy of
Grapevine, Texas, Karla Shinn of Bowling Green, Kim Coultas and husband, Steven of
Pittsfield, Ill., Keela Dark and husband, Donnie, of Baylis, Ill., Fredrick Shinn, of Houston,
Texas and Darla Shinn, of Dallas, Texas; two half sisters, Ruth Schindler of Frankford and
Cecil Lamberson of Ashburn and numerous grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by one son, Kevin Wayne Shinn.
Mr. Shinn was a farm and auto mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting
and being outdoors. He was a member of Kahoka Christian Church.
Pallbearers were Levi Dark, Steve Coultas, Donnie Dark, Brad Franklin, Thomas Shinn
and Trenton Bohrn.
