Robert Grover
Robert Lawrence Grover, 64, of Louisiana died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008 at the John
Cochran Veteran’s Hospital in St. Louis.
His desire was to be cremated. Services will be held at a later date.
Robert weas born July 7, 1944 in Louisiana to Marvin and Ruth Elliott Grover. He married
Rosanna Elliott. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Tracy Long of Millersburg; a step-son, Mike Grover,
Troy; nine grandchildren, Brandy Grover, Bobby Grover, Jesse Grover, Elizabeth Grover,
Savana Grover, Griffin Grover, Phoebe Grover, Hollis Long and Hayden Long; two step-
grandchildren, Bryden Grisham and Gunner Waite; three sister, Dorothy Campbell, Phyllis
LaBrier, Bowling Green and Janet Elliott of Louisiana; three brothers, Pual Grover of the
state of South Carolina; Jerry Grover, Eolia and Gary Grover of Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bobby Grover; a granddaughter, Katie
Grover and two brothers, Donald Grover and Rick Grover.
He had been employed in construction, trucking and later as a locksmith. Robert was a
veteran serving two tours in Vietnam with the United States Marine Corp.
