Pike County Youth Fair Sale
Scheduled At Pike County Fair
The Pike County Youth Fair Sale will take place on Saturday, July 26 during the Pike
County Fair.
The sale will be held in the small stage area at 6 p.m. The top four animals, of which two
will be home raised in steers, barrows, and market lambs, will be sold. The top four
chicken meat pens and the cured hams will also be sold. The animals will be on display
Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. on the fairgrounds.
An exhibitor may only sell one animal in the sale. One-half of the money above market
price of each animal goes back to the premium account. Each exhibitor in the inside
exhibits and livestock are paid a premium on their exhibit. Any individual, business or
group of individuals or businesses may purchase an animal.
